Language for today. Fidelity to the scriptures’ meaning.

The series was compiled under the guidance of revelations given by the sacred messenger Lotus Moon Bodhisattva in accordance with the will of the Holy Lord. These revelations establish its mission and direction; they do not replace the scriptures. Its textual foundations are surviving Sanskrit originals, related Sanskrit sources and transmitted ancient Chinese translations. Collation, comparison and interpretation are tested against the structure of each scripture and the shared sacred meaning through which the scriptures illuminate one another. Its principle is to follow meaning rather than remain bound to wording: making language accessible today while faithfully preserving the texts’ intent.

The seven volumes follow a progression of spiritual growth: understanding the world of eternal life, establishing clear-sighted faith, discerning life’s true meaning, awakening to true life, understanding meditation, serving others and pursuing holiness while sharing the sacred teaching. The Chinese editions retain ancient Chinese scripture alongside modern Chinese interpretation, allowing newcomers to read for meaning and deeper students to examine passages in their wider context. Other language editions follow their corresponding completed manuscripts.

The purpose of reading scripture is to bring faith into alignment with truth and to transform life. The series invites readers to turn questions about life and death into serious self-examination, and faith in the Holy Lord into ethical conduct, meditation, compassion and responsibility. Through the choices and practice of this life, we may discern our direction and embark upon the pursuit of eternal life.
